- חֲכַם, חֲכִים,also חַכִּים (adj. with verbal inflection) 1) to be wise, shrewd; to be learned. Targ. 1 Kings 5:11. Targ. O. Ex. 15:8 חֲכִימוּ (חַכִּ׳, h. text נערמו!). Targ.
